


Mineral-plant mixed biochemical humic acid is extracted from mineral sources (lignite, weathered coal) and blended with plant-derived components via chemical/biochemical processes. It has a stable, complex aromatic structure with rich active functional groups (carboxyl, hydroxyl) and natural mineral nutrients.
Plant-derived humic acid is made from agricultural waste (straw, sugarcane bagasse) through fermentation/hydrolysis. It has a simpler aliphatic structure with fewer functional groups, mainly polysaccharides and lignin.
Mixed type: Higher activity, better soil improvement, nutrient chelation, and crop stress resistance; lower application rate (0.3–0.5 kg/mu).Plant type: Good water solubility but weaker stability; higher application rate (5–10 kg/mu) for similar effects.
Mixed type: $2800–$3200/ton (higher raw material/processing cost).Plant type: $600–$900/ton (lower cost from waste materials).Mixed type is generally more expensive but more cost-effective in long-term use due to lower dosage especially than plant source which is from poor plant pieces.
Choose mixed type for high-value crops, soil remediation, or long-term fertility building. Choose plant type for large-area base fertilization with cost priority.
